Lecce raised an eyebrow at the little Nidoran. He slowly squatted down to it's level so as not to spook it, and with an experienced touch rubbed it between the ears. "Maybe he can smell my Nero," he suggested thoughtfully. "Though he's not this tiny anymore...." Speaking to the little Poison-Type he added, "Rub all over me while you can; mine's a bit territorial, otherwise I'd introduce you."
He gave it one last scratch under the chin before standing once more, straitening his uniform. He nodded to her, saying before he headed back towards the glass front doors. "He looks to be in wonderful condition. Good day, Miss Moria."

She performed a curt buisness bow towards him. "Good day sir. Good luck with the rest of your inspections. If you're heading towards the Game Corner, I could call to let them know you'll be over shortly?"

Lecce hid a frown as he replied, "That won't be necessary. "
Legally, it was only the prize corner in Celadon with a Pokemon sale license, unlike most of the newer Game Corners in other regions. And since there had been no reports lately of Pokemon leaving or entering the Game Corner building itself (it was a circulating theory that this rapid decline was the result of new, better, and thus more dangerous management of the organization, after Team Rocket reorganized with the leave of Giovanni) he had been told to ignore it; a more skilled, more experienced team would investigate it and other hot spots separately.
"And thank you," he continued. "You have one as well."
With that, he pushed open the door, letting a grinning man enter first before slipping outside. He still had a few collectors and Daycares to visit before his day was finished.

She watched him leave, seeing another man step inside "Well, I suppose that went well enough" she thought "I suppose I should be heading back now."
She wondered of the sharp-eyed officer had noticed anything, or suspected it. He had frowned when she had mentioned the Game Corner. A point of damaged pride? Or perhaps a nagging suspicion still lurked in the dark recesses of his analytical mind..
