"Wait, think about it." Alfonse said putting his hand on Rikari's shoulder. "There could be a reason the webs are there, I read in a newspaper that this family had a Aridos put webs up for security." he said remembering that the article made him think about catching a spider pokemon. "Although it's probably not why there are webs but it wouldn't hurt to be a little cautious"

Minagi nodded, "I agree with Alfonse. It seems odd that a famous museum would be so filthy....and even with highly maintained buildings, a fire that gets out of control could still be an issue. If there's a pokemon around, then the chances of there being others is a possibility as well. The question is whether or not they belong to anyone. If they're wild, we could end up dealing with a swarm....but then again if we ignore it, there's the possibility of a trainer that it goes running back to...."
Minagi paused, trying to think of possible ways out of this mess...She hated bugs with a passion, and the mere thought of swarming spiders made her shiver. "If we were to torch it, the pokemon may be injured as well, since webs DO burn fast after all...and since the rookie's Dratini is water type, we could have it duo with my Ninetales to take care of it w/out causing damage....the issue with that is that this is a stealth mission, and fire is flashy. The worst we could do is draw attention to ourselves. I don't really think we have the finesse to be able to maneuver around the webs though....and if they DO belong to a trainer, we'll have someone on our tails anyways...."

After hearing the whole misconception that DRATINI is a WATER type instead of a DRAGON type, which was it's actual type, Rikari decided to chime in. "Actually, my Dratini is Dragon type. It DOES however know Aqua Tail, which is water type. And I could always do controlled burning, as you suggested... because cutting the webs will draw attention, but burning them won't, I think. Am I right?"

Out of all the nights she was on duty, this was the first time she actually had a warning from her pokemon.
It was still a weak signal though, which meant that whoever they were concerned with was still was very far from where she was. Though, a threat was a threat; it would be wise to sneak attack when she had the chance... With that in mind, she tugged at one of the webs; soon, Spitik came into view.
"Spy on them and if they get closer to the storeroom... Let's welcome our guests with a giant electroweb blocking their way~" she whispered, to which the electric spider nodded and scurried away. Soon, they'll come across a massive electrified web~ cutting would be pointless unless the cutter was immune or resistant to electric... even so, the pieces of web would still hold electric current for a few minutes, meaning that unless it's a ground type, the pokemon would have trouble keeping its speed up. If they had a rock or a fire type it'll work, but otherwise they'll have to turn back.
{...why do i feel like i'm the bad guy here suddenly? XD}

( GenepeOrgel cuz you are the bad guy XD @rika geez, i typo'd cuz i was focused on the water move, relax...now i cant fix it b/c your chara ranted) Minagi flinched in irritation when Rikari's voice raised in defense. 'Sigh, he never changes' she thought as she bit back her tongue. She forced a smile that clearly failed to hide her irritation as she turned on him. Between him and the bugs, Minagi was uncertain that she'd be able to make it through the night. "Sorry, my bad" she whispered, her irritation seeping through her voice. "And yes," she continued, "a fire will draw the attention of possible nearby guards. It's bright, and isn't exactly the quietest element. Plus we'd have to work quick to avoid fire alarms going off." It was clear that things were getting no where fast, and she hoped beyond hope that the other member would give some input....she really didn't want to lose her cool with Rikari during a mission.

"Arguing won't get us anywhere, try to avoid the webs and let's save burning them for plan B." Alfonse said getting tired of Minagi and Rikari's bickering. "Let's just get moving before we get caught."

(so when do we acknowledge the electro-web? sorry for the OOC post, but I still need to edit the comments in. :3 IF I can think of one. I was going to suggest that my Glaceon freeze the web when we get there, since burning it is flashy.)

(genepe ordered the pokemon to use electro-web at the storage if we get too close. we just barely got to the 2nd floor, so we're not there yet. I also horribly fail at stories, so I'm a bit stuck on where to go from here.)

While Spitik had gone off to Vee, Aridane had been keeping an eye on the trio. The Spinarak was sure that these people were not supposed to be here; their pokemons were unfamiliar to her too. Especially that Emonga. Aridane instinctively avoided the flying mouse, though from how dark it was, there was little chance of her being spotted. Well, if she fell off her web, that'll also alert the flying pokemon...
Now there were three pokemons out. Even if she wasn't human, Aridane could catch one word from what the trainer of the third pokemon said. Fire. The one thing she feared most while her webs were in place. Fire, that could turn her into a tasteful and roasted snack for some.
It was a few moments until the poor Spinarak, who was expecting to be burnt to crisp, realized that those people decided against burning. First, she felt relief; but then a sudden anger came across her. Without realizing what she was doing, the Spinarak shot its signature move, Spider Web at the intruders. To them, it would look as though a huge web had appeared from the top of the wall on their side, which was where she was. {personally, I really don't mind when anyone spots the electroweb. I'm currently just throwing out random ideas really, so I guess I'll add on as things goes through. Also, since you guys seem to be stuck on story ideas, here's a derpy move XD Feel free to evade if you guys like, i guess; Spider Web isn't a damage-dealing attack, but rather used for trapping opponents anyways.}

Upon hearing the spinarak spray it's web somehow, Rikari stopped. "Guys, I think we might have a problem..." as he pointed out the web. "What are we going to do about that, even if it's not in our way?"
(unless spider silk is super quiet...)

Minagi froze as the move activated. She visibly grimaced as she realized what had just happened. The vile insect had engaged the 3 of them in battle, and was preventing their escape. 'This CAN'T be good...there's probably more of them too' she thought as she reached for a pokeball on her waist. "Who wants to torch the bug?" she asked to the other 2 trainers, all thought of fire alarms and detection completely gone from her mind. ( GenepeOrgel I love the fact that you're rping the actual pokemon as well, and not just being thr trainer <3 )

"How about you keep thebug busy and I teleport on over grab the fossils and come back for you guys, It'll be a little hard on Kirlia but she's gone through worse." Alfonse suggested.

(Oh boo, no teleporting directly into the storeroom. Otherwise why would an entrance plan be nessisary? For one thing, you don't know what the storeroom looks like, where it is precisely, and whether or not you'd materilize as part of a file cabinet)

Minagi perked up when Alfonse spoke, then faltered slightly as realization hit her..."Why didn't we do that in the first place?" she asked, slightly irked that it hadn't crossed anyone's mind. "Never mind," she continued, "Just go ahead and do that....we'll try to get rid of this thing. Make sure to come back for us before you teleport out."
Turning to Rikari, her face got more serious. "Lets try to do this quietly, we don't want to attract the guard's attention. Keep an eye out for more bugs too." she said as she reached for her pokeball.
(pft, hurricane ninja'd me. I can see the issue that would have, but then again having the floor plan would help a bit right? He'll know the dimensions of the room, and can guesstimate on how the layout is. He could always do a roll too, to see if he ends up damaged or not)

"Wait a second, you don't know where you'll end up in the storage room." said Rikari, with a small amount of concern. "As for this bug, FlyingMouse, come back!" the Emolga came out of a nearby hallway, with a 'Squeak-Squeak!'.
(the roll was my idea on skype. :3)

"Uh, how about I teleport outside the storeroom in the hallway, get in and come back for you guys with the fossils." Alfonse said realizing Rikari made sense. "Yeah I'll do that!" he added releasing Kirlia and having her teleport to in front of the door to the storeroom. "Whoa." he said when he saw the electrically charged web blocking his path.

The squeak of the flying mouse brought Aridane back to her senses. By now, she was hidden no more, and in danger! The terrified pokemon did one thing she could think of. The Spinarak shrieked a terrified cry, then started to run away on its web trail towards the storeroom where her trainer was. ------
Just as Spitik finished to set up the massive web which she was told to do in this situation, someone appeared with an unfamiliar pokemon. She was wary of the stranger and hid in the shadows, not forgetting to signal Vee that someone had approached the electroweb. She was sure these stranger wouldn't be able to go past her web that easily... or so she hoped.

"It's heading towards the storeroom!! Rookie!! Don't let it get away." Minagi called as she started following the spider, reaching for her Ninetale's pokeball in the process.

"Right!" said Rikari, reaching for his glaceon's pokeball. "Flyingmouse, ride that spinarak's tail and we'll catch up, got it?!" ordered Rikari. 'Squeak!' (read: Got it!) squeaked Emolga.

"See if you can cut that web with magical leaf." Alfonse ordered. Kirlia nodded and created colorful leaves appear in front of her that launched at the web, one successfully cut through the web near the center the rest were caught in the web. "Oh well, I didn't think that would work anyway, try using Psychic on the web!"
