Dan nodded, placing his water on the table before approach Chaos, smiling now as he offered to shake his hand. It was a kind jesture, trying to show that he still trusted him and his judgement. He'd said the right thing, both of them
"I'll bring it up, but I would never harm another member of my team. You're growning, Chaos. I'm happy to see that. You and Jessi both. I think there's a bright future for you here. And I know about bad habits. Everyone has them. It's about living with them that defines us. Now go on ahead, I'm sure you have something far more interesting to do than talk with me here"

Chaos was never into handshakes since almost all his fans would bug him into giving them one. But he knew that this was a different now. He took up the handshake with a good grip and answered. "Heh, thanks Dan. Your a great leader. I do have to go get ready for a trip that I`m about to take."
Chaos broke away from the handshake and headed for the door. He was glad that the talk wasn`t about how the room looked since he hates clean up duty. But he felt like that since it was his Pokemon that caused the room to be what it looked like. "Hey Dan. Do you... want me to help you get this place cleaned up?" Chaos asked.

Dan laughed and nodded, stepping out for a second and getting a broom, passing it to Chaos.
"You can sweep up the webbing. After a while, it turns to dust, so it shouldn't be hard to do. I'll start scrubbing down the walls and figure out how to get the Galvantula tracks off the ceiling"
He was glad that he'd offered to help clean up. It'd pass the afternoon and help his conscious, and that if he hadn't offered, he was going to disappear and hope someone else would have to

Chaos took the broom and started to get rid of the webs. He handled the broom like it was a sword, quickly sweeping through the many webs while trying not to look stupid.
After awhile, he got done with the task. He placed down the broom when a thought came into his mind. "Hey, wasn`t there someone in the team that didn`t respond your distress call and came here to help? Wheres Worth at?"

Dan didn't reply immediatly as he batted the other broom against the ceiling, standing on top of a big pile of boxes. He was too focused to reply before he jumped down, taking out a dust pan before answering
"She's out on a mission at the moment, so I didn't expect her to come. Two out of three is fine with me, and we still got it done. I need to find a way to differentiate the distress calls: some will be legitimate distress and some will probably be me trying to get everyone's attention"
He began to sweep up the yellow balls of webbing, the web sticking to itself to make something like demented yellow snowballs. He had an urge to pick one up and toss it, but he decided against it as he asked
"I noticed your stance, so I guess I'll ask: are you a practicing swordsmen?"

Chaos nodded at thd answer. "I guess that makes sense. You are right about that we just got it done with just you, me and Jessi. But even so, I think that we could have got done faster. But who needs to quickly get those things out of here?" As he said that, he took out the Ultra ball that housed the Galvantula that he caught a while ago.
He put away the Ultra ball and picked up his broom at Dan`s question. "Yeah I do. I practice sword fighting almost every day. Either in the base or in the Fighting Dojo when no one is around. I also practice fighting hand to hand and some other stuff."

"The skirmish was efficient, which is most important. And hey, we all had some fun and learned about ourselves, right?"
Dan thought over the swordsmanship comment and added with a big grin
"I practice martial arts myself. I hole myself up in my room and do exercises with Gold. I practice the Saikyo-Ryu style, taught by Master Hibiki via VHS Tapes. Guess I'm old fashioned on that end0

Chaos let out a small laugh. "I`ve never heard that style before but sounds interesting. Speaking of masters, I trained with all the fighting type gym leaders during my journey. I even trained with Bruno of the elite four. Let me tell you something, training with Bruno is tough to keep up with. Trying to stop his Onix with just your bare hands is nearly impossiple"
Chaos took a moment before continuing. "Also, I train with the Fighting type Pokemon I have like Hellfire. They all make good teachers and it helps them get stronger while I train with them."

"I see. Yes, that does sound like it'd be pretty tough. I train with mine occasionally, though there isn't much you can do to convince a Snorlax to do anything remotely active"
Dan smiled as he looked around, noting the few final misplaced objects. In a few moments, the only way anyone could tell that this room was the sight of a battle was if they were psychic or realized that battles were the only reason anyone cleaned these rooms
"OK Chaos, I officially have nothing left for you to do down here, except a simple question: is that your birthname, or is it just an alias? You don't have to answer if you don't want to"

Chaos only shugged at the question. "Its my birthname. I blame my parents for that. I`ve been looking into using a different name since I joined Team Rocket. I can`t bear to bring any shame to me or my family if everyone knew that I joined Team Rocket. I just need a name that I`ll go with."
Chaos walked to a nearby supply closet and put his broom in there and waited if Dan wanted to add anything else before he left.

Dan was a little surprised by the answer, nodding for a moment as he thought of his own family. The Marche's were all thieves and cons, so he'd never considered the honor of his family. He'd just always assumed they were hated. In the end, he gave a final word
"Thank you. For your help and for everything else. I'll talk to you later"

Chaos only nodded as he walked out the door. All this talking about himself got him thinking. Maybe he really needed to forget his family and friends. It didn`t matter as much anymore and if they truely wanted to get him back, they needed to find him and beat him in a battle.
Was there a point in doing that though? No, no there wasn`t. None of his friends or family couldn`t be able to beat him. Chaos had pokemon that has the same strength equal to that of a Champions team.
Chaos continued these thoughts as he walked back to his room to get ready for his trip that he had been planning.
