I've made an excel spreadsheet that lets you calculate battle damage, based on their stats, whether the move is physical or special, and the move's power. All you need to fill in is attack, defense, sp.atk, and sp.def. Everything else just makes it easier on you to remember.
Take in mind that this does NOT count type effectiveness, so you'll have to do your own calculations after that. Which is easy enough. All you have to do is multiply the number you get by certain numbers, depending on how effective the move is. If it's two-times not very effective, or 1/4, you multiple by 0.25. 1/2 effectiveness, 0.5. Super effective, 2. And twice as effective, 4. Simple enough, right?
Also, the attachment in this post is OBSOLETE. The one attached to the post below includes STAB, or same-type attack bonus.
