The training Dojo was nearly empty; the reason the two had agreed to the spar here, with little distraction and interruption.
Ann Kale gazed across the white-edged battlefield to her taller opponent, taking in their appearance a moment, before offering a small smile in greeting. With the rules already agreed upon beforehand, she pulled a small Pokeball from the bottom of her vest, pressing the small button and causing it to expand. Inside lay her chosen Pokemon, a Togetic just waiting to be released. "Are you ready?" Ann asked, holding the ball lightly in front of her.

((LOL, Just made a Dojo Board. No big deal, just let me transfer my post))
Dan smiled widely, drawing a khaki coloured Pokeball from his belt line. Closer inspection revealed it to be a recoloured Heavy Ball, meaning only one thing...
"I was born ready. I just hope you don't break that adorable little toy of your's on this"
He rolled the ball forward, the ball opening as the arena groaned with the added weight of a Snorlax, letting out a stomach growl as it lay on its back. Yup, that was Tan.

((...oh FFFT. Do you want me to repost there? We could close this one then, just so it's on the right board. Wouldn't be a problem... will keep going for this just so it's replied at least. XD; ...out of curiosity, would Dan be in his 'male' or 'female' costume now?))
Ann steadied herself a bit as the ground shook, but could help but smile wider at the giant Pokemon's vigor. That, and Dan's smile was a bit contagious.
"You may find my 'toy' is a little sturdier than he looks... C'mon out, Chris!"
She quickly tossed the Pokeball into the air above her, where it popped open to release the fluffy white Togekiss. ((on 1st post: Whoops evolution lol)) It made a figure eight in the air before coming down to glide over the much larger opponent.
Taking advantage of the difference in speed, Ann called out, "Quick, use Aerial Ace!"
Chris kicked about excitedly for a second before diving strait down towards it's opponent in the nigh unmissable attack.

((Dan is currently in his 'male' outfit. Good point on asking. I think I'll colour his posts when it's 'female' time))
Tan took the 30 damage with no real concequence, the hit smacking it in the belly. Dan gave his smile an extra inch as he called out
"Snorlax! Use Body Slam!"
Tan shifted a little, getting onto its feet before stumbling forward, apparently still waking up from a pleasent nap. It jumped forward in the general direction of the opponent, but it was obviously still a little inebriated

Chris bounced off of the Snorlax with a sound of surprised glee. He tumbled mid-air, flapping and trying to regain it's glide, only to see the looming shadow just as he righted himself. Though flapping to one side in just enough time to avoid being flattened, the shock wave from the falling Pokemon was enough to cause 43 damage and send him into another small spiral.
Ann steadied herself once more, and taking note of the spin, called out, "Use Air Slash!"
Chris continued to spin, but in a much more controlled way after the order was given, seemingly becoming a blur of light. The glowing Togekiss made a wide turn, gaining speed, and moved towards its foe (and potential trampoline) once more.

Snorlax took the hit right in the head this time as it lay face down on the mat, occasionally letting out a stomach growl as it took the 38 damage. Dan murmured something as he called for his beloved Tan to use Body Slam again, but it appears that the massive beast had flinched at the last hit, and was unable to immediatly return attack.
"Come on Tan, get it together! We have to show our strength!"

Ann winced at the sound made on contact, and watched the Togekiss bounce off before hitting the ground, knocked out of its spin from the impact. Wanting to get him off the ground quickly before Tan could make an easy hit, she gave another order.
"Chris, use some Extreme Speed and get back into the air!"
Chris lay in a heap for a moment, dizzy from the impact, but finally shook its head clear and got to its stubby feet. It started an awkward waddle towards the stirring Snorlax, flapping it's wings for balance until the skill kicked in to push it into a low flying, horizontal dive.

The attack made spot on contact, the Snroalx murmuring as it finally recoiled from the last two attacks. Standing up, it began to glow as Dan shouted while making a dramatic pointing jesture
"Snorlax, use Hyper Beam!" The massive beast lumbered for a moment before firing said lazer from its mouth, the stream of light continuous as it moved its head to try and hit the flying Togekiss

Togekiss made contact with the heavy Pokemon's side, seeming to disappear in it's squishy body for a moment before bouncing off, this time able to regain balance quickly. It zipped around, attempting to dodge the beam. Ann clenched her hands into fists, hoping.
"Come on, Chris... You can dodge this."
Togekiss, however, was not used to the tight turns and twists, more acclimated for wide wide arcs. It let out a cry as it was hit; though it managed to stay airborne, the 75 damage was a painful blow.
Ann winced for her ally, but didn't want to ignore this chance., the Snorlax taking a breather to recharge itself.
"C'mon, Chris, one more time, Extreme Speed!"
Togekiss did as he was told, a little wounded but more than able to make a turn and punch towards its foe once more.

The Snorlax took the brunt of the attack again as it panted, recharging from the powerful blast. Dan was in high spirits, bouncing on the balls of his feet as he tried to coax his Snorlax up again, but it would be the same amount of time if he didn't. Regardless, it was nice to see him in high spirits.
"Come on! It's going to come around again and you're still on your butt!"

Togekiss was looking tired now, it was obvious in the way its body drooped as it glided about over the match zone. Ann knew she couldn't move spam, it would take too much out of Chris. Extreme Speed was his strongest attack, but it would be much worse if he decided to settled on the ground for a breather.
"Chris, time for another Air Slash, now!"
The Pokemon did as it was told, perking up a bit at the change of orders, and turned to face the opponent once more.

((Sorry about the wait. Things have been on the freaky here))
Snorlax braced, taking the attack it it swung around for another Body Slam, taking a step forward before diving to flatten the Togekiss. Dan was still calling out motivation and making dramatic pointing motions, his Snorlax unsurprisingly less enthusiastic than the goofball who'd raised him from a Munchlax

(....well apparently I can't talk about delay, can I? ;_; Um, I can go ahead and try the new att/def power on this one ~)
Its opponent may have been slow compared to many others, but gravity was all that was needed here, and Chris too close to dodge the blow. He gave a small squeak before disappearing underneath the Heavy Pokemon, taking the 98 damage instantly.
Before he could become too squished against the Snorlax' belly, Ann called for another Air Slash, hoping that the spinning motion would get him out before it was too late.
"C'mon, Chris, we've been though thicker situations than this," she muttered. ...At least, she thought they had. She waited with hands gripped for any sign of change around the fallen Tan, and as the seconds passed hoped Chris could even hear the command underneath all that... mass.

(OMG OMG OMG OMG SO SORRY FOR BEING GONE OH CRIPES THIS IS BAD ON MY PART!)
The Snorlax opened its mouth in frustration as it rolled off, its belly now with a red spot where the attack had hit. Freeing the Togekiss beneath, Tan was obviously not pleased by the sore. It had taken 64 damage in the attack as well, but it would recover
"Snorlax, try and use Hyper Beam again!"
The lumbering creature opened its mouth to fire again after sitting up, but under its stress now and Togekiss' second wind, it may miss. Let's just hope it doesn't hit either of us

(..lol it's totally okay, man. Last I heard you were pretty busy. ...I'm more amused that it's the one day I don't check back you replied. ...and holy crap Snorlax is still over 1000? /sweats)
Togekiss made a relieved squeak, looking a little worse for wear as it scrambled away from the larger enemy with renewed vigor. (Though Ann was still glad her Pokemon did not know Roost, all the same.)
"Quick, back into the air, Chris! Don't be an easy target!"
The Togekiss managed the order just in time to avoid the dangerous beam. Small bits of the area floor, loosened from the thundering battle, scattered into the air.
"Good.. good, keep it up! Now go in for an Aerial Ace!"
Chris hesitated a brief moment; after nearly being crushed, it was harder to see the other as a nice thing to bounce into. It began to make the wide turn, gaining the speed needed for the attack.

Snorlax was recharging, incapacitating it to the 51 damage blow, but it still seemed pretty unalerted. Tan let out a yawn and remained against the ground, taking the hit and probably the next one too, as it would be a full turn.
Dan took the time to dance to the music in his head (currently Rasputin by Turisas). He called for Tan to take the two hits and to try again, but it was pretty much a petty jesture. Tan would move again when the time was right

Ann smiled a bit as the Snorlax took its time to recover; she knew it was still anyone's match, proven by how little response the attacks seemed to get, but this was as close to a brief advantage as she was going to get. Deciding to take the risk of a Rest without her strongest moves, she called out as the Togekiss swooped back into the air, post attack.
"Chris, we've got to hit'm strong, Extreme Speed, one more time!"
Togekiss made a sharp arc again, readying itself for the strong recoil if it hit.

Snorlax took another 68 damage as it got back up, now in a bit of a rage, as told by its angrily slant eyes. That didn't mean it wasn't going to be moving any faster, but it was mad.
"Tan, go in for a Body Slam!"
The Snorlax got a 'running start' and jumped forward, moving to land on top of Togekiss again. Using a Rest was useless with this much time left, and he didn't wanna be left open after a Hyper Beam again

Ann braced for the impact she knew was coming, though an idea struck her. Quickly she called, "Chris, head right for its belly!"
Togekiss glanced at his master in surprise, but did as it was told. It zipped strait towards the Snorlax, making contact in the center of its body right as it began to fall and nearly sinking out of view. The damage could not be avoided, but perhaps... Yes! With only a few feet between the gray-blue body and the arena floor, the fairy rebounded like a shot from underneath, hitting the ground and bouncing out of reach, just as Tan impacted, hard enough to nearly knock Ann off her feet. She let out a nervous chuckle.
"That's some running start..." She looked to her Pokemon as he righted himself, 98 health points weaker, but not in quite so perilous a position as last time. She gave a relived sigh that it worked, though just barely. "Right, attack again with Aerial Ace!"

(..Sorry if I overimply how... uh, bounce-tastic a Snorlax is. I've always pictured them as sort of the kingpin to the 'fubwoing' sound effect. Super squishy and rubbery. ._.)

(You made me LOL hard enough that it's fine. Besides, I'm sure it would work like that)
Tan was oddly surprised, but not disuaded as it hit the mat, taking another 68 damage from the attack. It flipped onto its back as Dan pointed, dramatic speed lines included as he called out with poor English dubber
"Go! Level 3 Hyper Combo! Hyper beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeam!"
The Snorlax fired its lazer again, the beam taking some of the paint off the walls with it as the attack swung towards Togekiss again. It hadn't hit last time, but he knew Tan could make the shot
