(Continued from here.) Tara swept into the lab, past the rooms kept for more childish experiments, and into the areas that were more top-secret. She even had her own personal testing facility, which required a ten-digit pass-code and a fingerprint scanner. She waited in front of it for Chaos, whom she had sent a messenger to retrieve.

Chaos was in the middle of packing his stuff when the messager came to get him. He was told that the boss wanted him so like he promised her, he placed the pokeball conteining his Sableye in a Lock Capsule, in which he "borrowed" from the lab a while back. From what he was told, it prevents pokemon from coming out and some other science stuff he didn`t understand.
Chaos and the messager reached the lab and went pass all the other rooms until they reached where the boss was.
The messager bowed and said in a clear voice. "Ma`am, I brought Chaos as you ordered. Anything else?" Chaos only gave a slight bow, without saying anything.

"That'll be all. You are dismissed." she told the messenger, giving a small nod of acknowledgement to them both. Turning to the security system, she typed in the long pass-code, and scanned her fingerprints. When the door clicked open, Tara glanced over her shoulder at Chaos, giving a small smile.
"It is time. The time to test our new technology is upon us, and I've made a few... minor adjustments to the equipment. It should be all set to go, all we need is a test subject... and I have the perfect one in mind." she said, giving an evil grin and she stepped into the room, beckoning him to join her.
Inside, it was a somewhat small lab, when compared to the others, but it was set up with high-tech equipment. In the far side of the room, where Tara made her way towards, was a chamber with the Shadow Device attached to it. She'd made a number of modifications, but it seemed that everything was set up for their test. "Are you ready, Chaos?" she asked, noticing that Lucius chose to stay by the door. A smart move, since he knew exactly what she had in mind for the pokemon that would be their tester.

Chaos followed the boss into the surpisely small lab. But the size of it didn`t matter, it was inside of it that surpised him. All the hi-tech equipment seemed to be too complicated for Chaos` mind. Although, his mind was more advanced in Pokemon battle tactics and combos, so he didn`t care about things worked.
His heart was racing. Not just from exictement, but fear of what that Shadow Device can do. Not letting any signs of nervousness or getting too exicted, Chaos nodded and answered. "Yes, I`m ready. Lets see what this thing can do."

Tara gave a small smile, pulling out a Rocket Ball from one of her pockets. She released a powerful Haxorus, the large dragon-type pokemon giving her a questioning look. She motioned towards the chamber, and it obediently entered, even if it was rather confused as to what was going on. Tara moved over to the control panel, pressing a few buttons. The doors to the chamber slid shut, sealing the pokemon inside. "And now, for the real test..." she murmured with a grin, activating the Shadow Device. The effect was immediate, a glow beginning to form inside of the chamber. The bright light penetrated even the walls of the chamber, causing them to glow, as well. Tara had to avert her eyes, the light rather painful to look at head-on, and wait. When the glow hit its highest intensity, a pained cry came from the Haxorus, and then all went still. The glow faded rather quickly, and the doors slid open to reveal... a changed Haxorus. It now looked similar to its shiny version... but very much altered. It was fully black, with red markings all over its body, and bright red eyes. There was also another, more distinctive change. Whereas before it had seemed obedient and tame, it now seemed more aggressive, more... evil, something that Tara seemed absolutely delighted about. (If you need a visual, I made a sprite of it~.)

Chaos took a step back at the sight of the now black and red dragon pokemon. It had finally hit him that he had delivered a device that creates Shadow Pokemon, a type of Pokemon that, if left unchecked, could destory a whole city within an hour depending on what pokemon. He loved the part that made Pokemon stronger and if he wanted, he could throw all his Pokemon on hand into that chamber, but he wasn`t too sure the boss would approve of that.
Chaos took this chance to look at that dragons power with his power-scouting sunglasses, which he wore when that bright light was coming out of the chamber, and scanned it. The power was way off the scanner limits and only showed a "Too powerful" message.
Chaos froze at the message and took off the glasses a minute later. He turned to the boss and said. "Shadow Pokemon have been revived once again... with Shadow Pokemon at our side, I don`t think no one will be able to stand up to Team Rocket."

Tara grinned happily, knowing that Chaos was right. They had created a powerful new breed of Pokemon, one which could surely conquer--
Her thoughts were interrupted by an angry rumbling from the Haxorus, and it began to use Outrage. It rampaged a moment, destroying the chamber that had turned it into a Shadow Pokemon, and then charged at the nearest Trainer in its line of sight... Chaos. Tara saw this and instantly responded, throwing a ball and releasing her Haunter.
"Epiales, use Hypnosis!" she called out, and the Haunter instantly obeyed. (RNG: 45, so it's effective~.) The move hit, causing the Haxorus to fall asleep as it ran, slamming into the ground as it skidded to a halt. Tara let out a small sigh of relief; if that pokemon had gone on a rampage, she would've had to bring out everything she had to stop it. She attempted to return it to its ball, but somehow, the Haxorus was unable to enter the same poke ball that it had been when it was a normal Pokemon. She frowned. They'd have to work on a new type of poke ball to contain Shadow Pokemon, then.
"Epiales, make sure that it stays asleep. We don't need that thing making even more of a mess in the middle of the base." she ordered her Haunter, before turning to look at the damage it had done to the chamber. It was a complete ruin... but at least it didn't damage the Shadow Device.
"Looks like we're going to have to make a more sturdy chamber to contain them, and some new type of poke ball to be able to hold them. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, before we can use these in battle. For now, I'll use this one, and study how they work. Hopefully, it's not too much trouble to keep. It may be powerful, but I can't have it going on a rampage every time I take it out of its ball." she commented to Chaos, glancing over at him. It would've been bad if the Haxorus had been able to go through with its attack on him...
(By the way.. Happy Birthday~!)

(Thanks! ) Chaos saw the dragon coming at him and knew that if hit him, it would cause a fatal wound or killed him. He braced himself for the worst, but thanks to the bosses Haunter, he was saved. He looked at the sleeping dragon, still questioning what it was since he never seen it before. 'I guess I owe her big for saving me.' Chaos thought before turning to the boss. "Could I say something about all that you just said? I once saw a Shadow Pokemon in a battle before and from what I saw, it was in a regular poke ball so that device must have a flaw in it. Maybe while you was making adjustments to it, you may have made the device give out too much power and made it where any pokemon that have their heart closed shut by the device is made unable to return to their poke ball." Chaos stopped a second to glance into the now destoryed chamber before adding. "I would forget making Shadow Pokemon while the Pokemon is out. The best and safest bet would making it to where you can do that while they are in the poke ball instead."

(Er.. I don't know about the whole "used to have a Shadow Pokemon" thing, unless Chaos was on Team Snagem or whatever they're called from Pokemon Colosseum or Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.)
Tara gave a small nod, taking the suggestion into consideration. "It would be a good idea to try and make sure that they were in their poke balls during the change, and then take them to the battle arena to see how they act. This one is very aggressive, obviously... I'll need to keep it on a tight rein, so to speak. But that still leaves me with a problem; if I can't get it back in its poke ball, we're going to need to find, or create, a ball that it can go in. I think they may have been made too powerful for ordinary balls to contain." she told him, frowning as she looked at the sleeping pokemon.

(Well, we could say that he was one of the people that was given a Shadow Pokemon during Gale of Darkness. Just want to say, Sableye was his Shadow Pokemon.)
Chaos nodded, taking in what she said before saying. "If you need someone to help with testing the Shadow Pokemon, I can always help with that. It just so happens that my dad taught me how to make a poke ball when I was young. I could try to make a poke ball that could contain Shadow Pokemon. I just need some time and the proper equipment."
"By the way, I just have a small question..." Chaos then looked at the sleeping pokemon. "Just what Pokemon is that? I`ve never seen that thing before."

(I don't exactly feel comfortable in having anyone's pokemon be Shadow Pokemon unless I approve its creation. That's going to be one of the rules once I make the update regarding Shadow Pokemon. So, no. Please edit that bit out of the previous posts.)
"Thank you for your offers, Chaos. I'll keep you in mind." she told him, giving a small, amused smile. Then she regarded his second statement, glancing down at the pokemon. It was still asleep, although it didn't have much choice, with her Haunter concentrating on keeping it asleep.
"It's called a Haxorus. I've recently... 'acquired' it from a trader that I'm on good terms with. There are numerous new pokemon that I've taken an interest in, but this one caught my eye the most. It's incredibly powerful, even as a regular pokemon.. which makes me wonder what the full extent of its power could be."

(Okay, I've edited the post. I only meant that Sableye used to be one but I don't want to continue this anymore.)
"Haxorus huh...?" Chaos said as he started to think that he needs to find some way to get some of these new Pokemon. Maybe he could go to that new region on a mission someday and catch any Pokemon that catches his interest.
He snapped out of his thoughts and looked to the boss. "Well, I guess theres nothing else to do for now, right? I can start working on that Poke Ball as soon as I get out of here. So... if you don't need me here, then could I leave?"

(Alright. Thanks, though. :3)
Tara gave a nod, glancing at the chamber that the Haxorus had destroyed. "You may go. For now, I'll be in here working on a new chamber, designed to change them while in their poke balls. When you've finished working on that ball, bring it to me here." she told him, relying on her Haunter to keep the pokemon asleep while she worked.

Chaos bowed and answered. "I`ll get right on it. Its been awhile since I made a one but I just need to borrow some stuff from another lab and I can get working on it. Expect it to be done in a few hours."
And with that, Chaos silently left the lab. He knew that he needed to hurry before the Haxorus could do anything more damage if it was to wake up.

(I don't remember you mentioning anything about shadow pokemon. ; And what do you mean about the poke ball problem? If you're talking about the Shadow Haxorus's poke ball, Chaos was going to work on it. If it was something else, I'm sorry.. I'm a horribly forgetful person, most of the time.)

(this is why you test on something small and easily contained to start with :3 Overambition was always Team Rocket's failing point. I've been gone awhile, I'll need to catch up on these Shadow Pokemon)
