Applications for Global Moderators

As you all know, I have been very busy with school, horse shows, and real life in general. I haven't had much time to moderate the forums, or enforce the rules and such. The forums are getting more lively, which means that I'll need more help in keeping track of everyone's threads, and making sure that everyone's doing things the way they should be.

What I consider a Global Moderator
Global Moderators are exactly what the name implies. They are moderators, who help to watch over the site when I am unable to pay attention to it. Because we have a rank called Admin, I'm not going to call them Administrators, but Global Moderators have almost all of the same powers as an Administrator would, on any other forum. Admin and Administrator would make me confused /orz.

What I expect of a Global Moderator
-Kind and caring; one who genuinely wants to help, not just applying for the boost in powers and privileges.
-Enforce the rules fairly; read the ongoing threads, and make sure that nothing too blatantly rule-breaking is going on. If you suspect that something is not right, but you aren't sure, send me a PM and ask about it. Remember to be fair; yes, you have powers, but that doesn't make you God.
-Will not abuse powers; you're here to help, not make my job harder than it already is. I can view the security log, so I can see everything that everyone does. If I see anyone doing anything blatantly wrong, you get one warning. If it happens again, all powers are revoked from that person.
-Talk to me before doing anything serious; If you think someone is being unreasonable, or you're unsure of what you should do in that situation, send me a PM.
-Run events in my stead; yes, I will allow you to use donated retros as prizes for your events. Make them fun for everyone involved! :3

What can you help with?: I can help with contests, moderation, and other things.
How often are you available?: I am available occasionally. Usually around 8 and 11 am.
What is your timezone?: Eastern time.
What are your reasons for applying?: I want to help in any way possible.
Why should I pick you?: I am polite but I was follow the rules, and I make sure others do the same.

What are your reasons for applying?: I know it isn't easy running something like this, i've said from the moment i signed up that i'd like to help in any way possible, this is a good way for me to do so
Why should I pick you?: I have always been willing to help, i'd love the chance to be able to help everyone out by making sure that everything here runs smoothly and things don't get out of hand.

What can you help with?: Well, I guess I can be one of those people who plays good cop bad cop, or just waves around the ban hammer untill everybody behaves... it's really a matter of who is being dealt with. As for topics, I guess we'd need either a place to move them, or I'd have to delete any of the ones that you disaprove of.
How often are you available?: Almost any time during the summer.... during the school year it's usually any time between 3:00 PM and 10:30 PM GMT.
What is your timezone?: I live in the Midwestern US. Our timezone code is GMT I think?
What are your reasons for applying?: Because I can. :3 Oh wait, that was a half joke. It's also because I need an excuse to help out around here.
Why should I pick you?: Well, that's your choice. I won't be offended if you don't, and neither will those donations I keep forgetting to send yo-*shot* lolhalfjk. (I'll still send the donations later, but I don't think I have enough right now to denotate a mass donation.)

What can you help with?: Nothing except updates, rallying messages [like an UPDATE! post, or alerting other members, etc] taking care of the applications forum, allowing missions by Admins, the like.
How often are you available?: Whenever I'm bothered to get online. I tend to do that once a day though.

What are your reasons for applying?: To get post counts I just want to have the power to edit other people's posts To protect the world from devastation
Why should I pick you?: To unite all people within our nation ..Er, actually, You shouldn't because I'll probably be a grammar nazi STALKING YOU ALL lurking in the Application section.

What can you help with?: Updates, events, or just enforcing the rules. Just tell me if theres anything special that you want done and I`ll try my best to do that.
How often are you available?: I get on almost every hour since I really don`t have anything better to do on my phone or at school.
What is your timezone?: -6 GMT.
What are your reasons for applying?: Since I get on here almost hour, I can check the threads and spot out anything thats wrong. Also I just want the free donuts and tea. XP
Why should I pick you?: I don`t mind helping out the site. If you don`t choose me then I don`t mind and won`t hold it against you or anything. Just prepare for a least a very bad pun somewhere either here or in Vdex. Nah, just kidding about that. Or am I?! *Spooky music plays in background*

No offense to anyone, but I was hoping for more than five applications. I was going to get three moderators for different parts of the site, but there aren't enough applications for me to feel like it's fair to choose three people.

You've gotta count the fact that there're only around ten active users on the forum. Two are already a mod [you and marche], so five apps are like almost half the site's members.

Or we could advertize the site by saying "Come join in the fight against Team Rocket with the Police or Help Team Rocket's goals come true by joining them" and just put a link down on it or something.

You could also allow certain parts of the forum to be viewed as guest - for example the purpose/plot of the site and rules and all that important stuff.

The thing is, since our team is based on the team on VDex, we will only attract those who are both interested in getting pokemons on VDex as well as roleplay on a TR site. I... don't really think there are many RPers out there who'd be willing to fit both requirements; like, say if we advertised on GPX+ or w/e they call themselves. The RPers there won't join because a) either they are too fond og GPX+ to start VDex or b) simply does not have much preference/time to oversee their VDex accounts.
